This tour,
designed by Stephen E. Ambrose, will follow the path of Lewis
and Clark
in Montana and Idaho (1804-1806).
Tour Includes:

• Full time historian and logistical escort
• 8 nights in the finest local accommodations including
hotel taxes, porterage and service charges
• Touring by first class air-conditioned motorcoach

Optional Pre-Tour Includes:
• Full time historian and logistical escort
• 3 days/2 nights canoeing and camping with all gear
provided (except sleeping bags), including catered luxury trail
meals
• 1 night in hotel including hotel taxes, porterage
and service charges
• All transportation during tour
This pre-tour includes canoeing (usually 3 days), living in
tents, camping and outdoor eating and toilet facilities (2
nights), and some mountain walking and hiking. Weather conditions
may be very hot and humid, cold and/or wet. Please be sure
that you are in good physical condition to be able to enjoy
and fully participate in the activities of the trip.
