Phil Nordyke
Phil is an honorary member and official historian of the 505th RCT Association. His book, ALL AMERICAN, ALL THE WAY –The Combat History of the 82nd Airborne Division in World War II (Zenith Press 2005), was named as an Editor’s Choice of the Military Book Club. In his research, he contacted over 2000 WWII veterans of the 82nd, developing close friendships with many. He has walked the 82nd Airborne Division’s WWII battlefields in Europe several times, where members of the division contributed so much to our eventual victory. Phil is ready to share with you his keen and intimate knowledge of what happened on those battlefields during those crucial months in the European Theater of Operations
